Procedures at Medone Diagnostic Center

1. ECG or Electrocardiogram
ECG is a test to measure the electric activity of the heart. Electrical impulses are created by the heart while it beats, and these beats are recorded in an ECG test.

2. Echocardiography
Echocardiogram uses sound waves to create images of the heart. It is a painless test. From this test, a doctor can learn the size and shape of a patient's heart. The test also shows a doctor how well someone's heart chambers and valves are working. If a heart is not contracting normally because of poor blood flow or injury from previous heart attack(s), this test can detect the area that is not contracting properly. Echocardiograms can also detect possible blood clots inside of the heart, fluid buildup in the pericardium (sac around the heart), and problems with the aorta.

3. Carotid Ultrasound
Carotid Ultrasound is painless and harmless test that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the carotid arteries. Carotid arteries are the two large arteries in the neck which supply the brain with blood. A carotid ultrasound shows whether or not plaque is built up inside of the arteries.

4. OB/GYN Scan

5. Blood Sugar Test

6. Blood Pressure Check
Blood Pressure Checks can find potential heart disease, propensity to strokes, brain hemorrhages, and more.

7. Abdominal Ultrasound
Abdominal Ultrasound is a non-invasive test, and it uses high-frequency sound waves in order to create a picture of the internal organs of the abdomen. These organs include: the liver, gallbladder, spleen, and pancreas. Some of the blood vessels located in these organs can also be evaluated in an abdominal ultrasound.
